But It's Only Been 2 Months!!!
OK...It's official. I suck. Life became insane after Winter Break finished. School is nuts, and I've had major home changes too. But, I'm alive and coming up for air! I read something from one of my MOFs today...and it's inspired me. I need to start appreciating things in my life, so I'm counting my blessings:
1. Snickers Minis
2. Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke
3. Sleepy baby smiles
4. Eskimo kisses
5. Martha (previous sitter)
6. Karen (new sitter)
7. Cute puppies...particularly Daschunds
8. Knowing I can interview for preschool positions for next year
9. Having an appt to check out Daniel's speech/language
10. Dark Chocolate anything
11. Diet Dr. Pepper at Sonic with extra ice
12. Pebbles In My Pocket
13. BOOKS!!! Specifically vol. 2 of The Kingdom and the Crown series (current read)
14. New windows...so I don't have to hear my neighbors conversation from my bedroom.
15. New curtains
16. My digital camera
17. Daniel running to me when I pick him up at daycare and him smothering me with no less than half a dozen kisses.
18. My laptop is fixable
19. Watching my son say "nite-nite" to everything in the house before going to bed (windows, doors, toys, furniture, etc)
20. Fresh papaya
21. Reliving pregnancy vicariously through pregnant coworkers
22. Random phone calls from my husband on bad days just to say he loves me
23. A dependable paycheck
24. Owning a house
25. Having my car almost paid off
26. My MOFs
27. Tin Roof Sundae ice cream
28. Chocolate in the teacher's lounge
29. Getting kids into programs they need (and out of my room)
30. 2 hour phone calls with my best friend
31. A Furby that doesn't seem to work anymore
32. 70+ degree temps in January and February
33. Rain this week
34. Freshly painted walls
35. Cheese (behold, the power of cheese)
36. Sonic's crunchy ice
37. A kid who thinks I'm the greatest thing in the world
38. Get Curly hair gel
39. Mentadent toothpaste
40. Curve perfume
41. Having a finished bathroom (after 17 months)
42. Touch lamps
43. Granola bars
44. Hand controls
45. Chair-Topper wheelchair lifts... that work
46. Towels still warm from the dryer
47. Fresh sheets
48. My Sunday School class of 13/14 year olds
49. My breadmaker
50. Having a sister who knows the answer to everything
